Vendor Terms & Conditions

Welcome to the Pass It On vendor community.

To maintain a high-quality marketplace and ensure a smooth experience for all users, all vendors must adhere to the following policies.

1. Commission & Fees

Pass It On operates on a commission-based model. By listing your items, you agree to the following fee structure:

  • Regular Vendor (15% Commission): For sellers who manage their own listings, photography, and packing.
  • We Sell For You (50% Commission): For our concierge service where Pass It On handles photography, storage, and listing management.

Vendor Note: Commissions are deducted from the final sale price. We recommend adjusting your item pricing accordingly to account for these fees.

2. Featured Listings (Optional)

Vendors may purchase premium homepage placement for their items at a rate of 15 AED per 7-day period.

  • No Guarantee of Sale: This fee covers increased visibility only. Sales remain dependent on product quality, market demand, and vendor pricing.
  • Renewals: Features can be renewed weekly. It is the vendor's responsibility to request a renewal before the current period expires.
  • Non-Refundable: Once a featured period has commenced, the 15 AED fee is non-refundable.

3. Listing Standards & Honesty

Accuracy is the foundation of our marketplace.

  • Transparency: We do not accept second hand items with flaws, stains, repairs, or functional damage.
  • Authenticity: Counterfeit items, replicas, or "AAA grade" fakes are strictly prohibited. Selling such items will lead to immediate account termination.
  • Photography: For regular vendors, photos must be clear and represent the actual condition of the item.

4. Prohibited & Restricted Items

In compliance with UAE regulations, the following items cannot be listed:

  • Consumables: Any edible or drinkable products.
  • Topicals: Any cosmetics, skincare, or perfumes applied to the body.
  • Restricted Goods: Hazardous materials, weapons, or items violating UAE public morals.

5. Fulfillment & Logistics

  • Pick-up Readiness: Regular vendors must prepare their items and mark them as "Confirmed" within 48 hours of an order notification.
  • Courier Access: You must ensure someone is available at your registered location for the doorstep courier collection.

6. Payouts & Disputes

  • The 3-Day Rule: Earnings are transferred to your registered bank account within a maximum of 3 business days after a successful delivery, provided no buyer dispute is raised.
  • Returns for Misrepresentation: If a buyer proves an item was misrepresented, the vendor is responsible for a full refund and must cover the cost of the return shipping.
